Our Horses

Ammunition (Ire)

2000 Bay Gelding

Needle Gun x  Flapping Freda

Owner: For Sale

Won first time over fences at Towcester, very unlucky not to win at Folkestone when hampered next time. He will continue in handicap chases this season. He is currently for sale.

Ange ou Demon (Ire)

2004 Chestnut Gelding

Exit to Nowhere x  Andromeda

Owner: Sir Robert Ogden

A lovely horse from the same family as Grade 1 winner Squire Silk. He had one run in a bumper last year where he found the ground too fast for him. He has come back well after his summer break and he will start off in bumpers.

Best Actor (Ire)

2000 Bay Gelding

Oscar x  Supreme Princess

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

He was very impressive when winning his bumper as a young horse, followed by an equally impressive hurdles win last year. Not many miles on the clock. We will look forward to novice chasing this year. He loves soft ground.

Blue Monty (Ire)

2001 Bay Gelding

Supreme Leader x  Choice of Kings

Owner: Mrs Angela Tinknell

Unraced, having had problems as a young horse prior to joining us. He is a very straightforward horse and will start in novice hurdles.

Bradley Boy (Ire)

2001 Chestnut Gelding

Presenting x  Mistric

Owner: Steve Hemstock

Having developed into a very good staying hurdler in 2006/2007 he had a few minor setbacks last season, by the time he was right we did not want to risk him on watered spring ground so turned him out for the summer. He will go novice chasing and we have high hopes for him.

Brookview Lad (Ire)

2003 Bay Gelding

Parthian Springs  x  Another Shuil

Owner: Mr B Perkins

Cabinet Minister (Ire)

2003 Brown Gelding

Bob Back x  Black Spring

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

A big chasing type, his dam is Monsignor’s full sister so he is well related. He has not been rushed - he needed time and will start off in a bumper.

Can't Buy a Thrill

2001 Chestnut Gelding

Accordian x  Gaye Humour

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Full brother to Youlbesolucky - a winner of a bumper, hurdles and over fences. He is a big gangly horse who took time to develop. He ran a few times over hurdles and showed promise. He will start over hurdles then may go novice chasing.

Charlotte Street (Ire)

2002 Bay Gelding

Sassanian x  Street Peddler

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

He had 2 runs in bumpers finishing 3rd first time, had bad luck in running on his next start. He has done well over the summer and will go novice hurdling.

Corredor Sun (USA)

2006

El Corredor  x  Cozzie Maxine

Owner: Bryan Mathieson

Purchased from the Kempton breeze up sales, from a US dirt family. He has run in 2 very good maiden races to date. He has improved with every race and will eventually go over hurdles a 3-year-old next summer.

Crouch End Flyer

2000 Bay Mare

Overbury x  Edithmead

Owner: Blain Nairn Racing

Finally got of the mark at Towcester in the spring. She is a very tough mare like her mother was. She will eventually go chasing when she has reached her peak over hurdles.

Debauchery (Ire)

2002 Bay Gelding

Old Vic x  Bring it with you

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

A very tough consistent horse. Having won 2 bumpers impressively in his first season, he confirmed that promise with 2 good efforts over hurdles last winter. He had a small setback at the backend of the year so is not back in yet. He will be aimed at staying novice hurdles.

Den Of Iniquity

2001 Bay Gelding

Supreme Leader x  Divine Comedy

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Our best bumper horse of 2006/2007, he unfortunately missed last season because he was kicked in the field during his holiday. He is half brother to a Grade 1 winning chaser Dakyns Boy so we are looking forward to him going over obstacles this season.

Deo Gratias (POL)

2000 Bay Gelding

Enjoy Plan x  Dea

Owner: Dave Brown

Has got plenty of ability but sometimes likes to reserve his energy! He has given our amateur Sam Painting a few spins in amateur flat races this summer. He will probably continue in amateur races- flat and over jumps, he is an ideal ride for an inexperienced jockey to learn on.

Frascati Park (Ire)

2004 Bay Gelding

Bach x  Hot Curry

Owner: Barry Connell

Ridden by his owner Mr Barry Connell, a very impressive winner of his first bumper at Market Rasen. He then travelled to Ireland and was just beaten at The Galway Festival. He will run again shortly.

Free World (Ire)

2002 Bay Gelding

Luso x  Paddy's Dancer

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

He will have a brief hurdling campaign before he goes chasing. Being by Luso he is ideally suited by good ground. I think a lot of him.

Fusilade (Ire)

2003 Chestnut Gelding

Nikos x  Fulgina

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Unraced, he is closely related to top class chaser Cyfor Malta. With the right pedigree we hope he can confirm the promise he shows at home when he makes his debut in a bumper this autumn.

Genies Lamp (Ire)

2004 Chestnut Filly

Snurge x  Kyle Lamp

Owner: Mrs T Brown

Another from an impressive family. She is from the same lines as Dempsey, already showing a lot of promise. We are very much looking forward to her running in a bumper this season.

Glenda Hoddle

2002 Bay Mare

Kayf Tara x  Mrs Bossy Boots

Owner: Mr John Goodman

A bonny mare who always tries her hardest. She had 3 runs in bumpers, but she will be better over hurdles when she can get the longer trip she requires. Having schooled well before her holiday we are looking forward to her going over hurdles.

Gospel Truth

2003 Chestnut Gelding

Sendawar x  Take my Hand

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Have You Seen Me (Ire)

2003

Beneficial x  Silent Supreme

Owner: The Maple Hurst Partnership

Closely related to class horses Nick Dundee and Ned Kelly he did not let the family down with his very impressive debut at Stratford. Things just did not go his way after that, at Aintree he was left at the start, and at Punchestown he was found to have an infected tooth on his return. He is not back yet as he has been allowed time to get over his operation to remove the tooth. We are excited about him going hurdling this season.

Hellfire Club

2003 Brown Gelding

Overbury x  Tapua Taranata

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Hellfire club won as he liked at Stratford in his first bumper, we like him a lot and he will most likely go hurdling in the latter part of this season rather than the championship bumper route.

Hennessy (Ire)

2001 Bay Gelding

Presenting x  Steel Grey Lady

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

A very talented horse, he has run some terrific races over hurdles last season. Very unlucky at Cheltenham when he fell, as we are convinced he would have been involved in the finish. Had 2 runs over fences last year finishing 2nd to Over The Creek who went on to win a listed race at Cheltenham. Capable of improvement over fences we hope for a very good year with him.

Ironical (Ire)

2004

Bob's Return x  Cheryls Pet

Owner: Lady Blyth

Purchased from the breeze up sales at Cheltenham he is a compact horse who shows a lot of promise and knows his job. Just back from his summer break he will be running in a few months time in a bumper.

Jaunty Journey

2003 Chestnut Gelding

Karinga Bay x  Jaunty June

Owner: Colin Roberts

He came to us in the spring from the Cheltenham breeze up sale having won his last 3 point-to-points. He will be aimed at staying novice hurdles as he seems to appreciate 3 miles. He appears very tough and genuine.

Joyryder

2001 Grey Golding

Cloudings x  Knight Ryde

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Having won his bumper on heavy ground he seemed to appreciate better ground when he went over fences and hurdles. He got his head in front over fences in the spring on the better ground. He has been a consistent sort so far we hope he continues in this manner.

Jump Jet (Ire)

2002 Chestnut Gelding

Beneficial x  Cherry in a Hurry

Owner: Mr R Thesiger

Unfortunately suffered an injury in the spring so he has to miss next season. He had been running consistently in handicap hurdles. He is due to go novice chasing when he returns.

Kid Charlemagne (Ire)

2003 Bay Gelding

King Charlemagne x  Albertville

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Very impressive when winning his two bumpers. Never showed his true ability over hurdles for one reason or another. He has been given a nice break and we are looking forward to a good season with him.

Kingston Lane (Ire)

2002 Bay Gelding

Sassanian x  Two Roads

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

From a good chasing family he won his first two bumpers well, he ran in the champion bumper at the Cheltenham Festival and ran better than his finishing position suggests. He will run over hurdles this season, he loves soft ground.

Lennox Gardens

2004 Chestnut Gelding

Anabaa Blue x  Ariadne

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

A tough individual who has had three bumper runs, showing improvement each time. He will probably be seen to better effect over hurdles as he will appreciate further and jumps well.

Letalus (Ger)

2001 Bay Gelding

Tannenkonig x  Lerida

Owner: Mrs Jill Eynon & Mr Robin Eynon

An import from Germany having won six times on the flat over there. The switch to fences has transformed him; in four starts he won his last two and was second in the other two. He has gone up in the weights but we hope he can still improve and win a nice prize.

Little George (Ire)

Little George

Heron Island x  Kyle Eile

Owner: Ron George

Half brother to an old resident here Sterling Stewart, he is a very tall horse but will not take too many races in a season. He will start off over hurdles and we are hopeful he will confirm the promise he showed in his two bumper runs last season.

Lordy (NZ)

2002 Bay Gelding

Senor Pete x  Lydney

Owner: The High Altitude Partnership

He was imported from New Zealand two years ago. Last season was slightly disappointing, but sometimes imported horses do disappoint to start with. He shows a lot of ability at home and having recently had a wind operation we hope he can produce it on the track this season

Mansolias (Fr)

2004 Bay Gelding

Mansonnien x  Popie D'ecorcei

Owner: Sir Robert Ogden

An unraced horse, he was in training for a short while last year. He was sent home early for his summer break as he desperately needed to grow into himself. He has come back looking great and we look forward to running him in a bumper when he is ready.

Master Charm (Fr)

2004 Bay Gelding

Smadoun x  Kandania

Owner: Sir Robert Ogden

A lovely looking horse, we had high hopes for him last season. His first bumper was a good run but he failed to improve next time being too keen early on. Hopefully he has matured mentally and physically and will show his true potential.

Maximise (Ire)

2004 Bay Gelding

Lahib x  Shelayly

Owner: Sylvia Tainton

The last remaining horse to be offered for sale from the dispersal of Sylvia Tainton’s horses who used to own Beau whom I won the Whitbread on. A lovely well bred individual. He was in training last year learning the ropes; he shows promise but is a very backward green type who will need time.

Murphy (Ire)

2002 Bay Gelding

Lord Americo x  Kyle Cailin

Owner: Mrs Tracy Brown

Full brother to Dempsey who showed that he is a potential star with an excellent run in a good bumper at Kempton in the spring. Punchestown was a disappointment, but he is a highly-strung type who probably did not take the trip well. He will run in Novice hurdles now and we hope he can follow in his brother’s footsteps.

Not So Prudent (Ire)

2004

Flemensfirth x  Prudent Princess

Owner: Lady Blyth

Another from Cheltenham breeze up sales. He will start in a bumper but will not be rushed as he is a long-term prospect.

Once (Fr)

2000

Hector Protector x  Moon Magic

Owner: Lady Blyth

He ran very well on his first start for us over hurdles at Towcester finishing 2nd. Quite small as he is an ex flat horse, he jumps well so he may try fences shortly. We hope to pick up a few races with him.

Oscar Gold (Ire)

2004

Oscar x  Ballinaroone Girl

Owner: Alan Stennett

An unraced gelding, he is enjoying his work and we will look to run him in a bumper when he is ready.

Oujamomaflip

2003 Chestnut Gelding

Vettori x  Magical Veil

Owner: Something In The City 3

A new horse to the yard purchased from Doncaster in the spring. He had one run in a bumper finishing 4th at Lingfield beaten only two lengths. He is a fine big horse and we think we can win a bumper before going jumping.

Pontiff (Ire)

2002

Alflora x  Northwood May

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

A lightly raced horse that has had leg problems in the past. Well related to Hand in Hand from a smart chasing family. He will go straight novice chasing this season. He has the ability to pay his way.

Presentandcorrect

2001, Chestnut Gelding

Presenting x  Friston

Owner: MC Gibson & TL Gibson

Having joined us recently after winning two hurdle races last season our plan is to go novice chasing. He is a good looking athletic horse who we could have a lot of fun with until the ground gets very soft.

Prince Tom

2004

King's Theatre x  Cresswell Native

Owner: Mrs Angela Tinknell

Just had the one start in a bumper shaping well and finishing 3rd. He will run again in bumpers to start with. He has a great outlook and is always willing to please. I think he will improve more than most for his debut run. I like him a lot.

Quartano (Ger)

2003 Chestnut Gelding

Plantini x  Queens Diamond

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Slightly frustrating last season over hurdles as he failed to get his head in front. He ran his best race at Kempton in a Grade 2 finishing 3rd, everything happened too fast at Cheltenham for him next time. He looks to need further than 2m. He is quite high in the weights so may go chasing later on this season. He is a very talented horse.

Quelqu'un Comme Toi (Fr)

2004 Brown Gelding

Evening World x  Urta

Owner: For Sale

Was bought in France at the St-Cloud breeze up sale a year ago. Had a few niggling problems which prevented us from running, which could well turn out to be a blessing in disguise. His owners then decided to sell all their horses and I liked him so much I bought him myself. He is currently for sale. He will run when he is ready and I have no doubt that by what he has shown so far, a run can only increase his value.

Quick Shot (Fr)

2004 Bay Gelding

Sassanian x  Byrsa

Owner: Mrs Jill Eynon & Mr Robin Eynon

After being bumped around through the first half of his debut race at Exeter he showed loads of promise to finish a close up 8th out of 15. In the spring he gave himself a knock so we turned him out. We are looking forward to running him again in the autumn.

Quintessentially (Ire)

2002 Chestnut Gelding

Bob's Retuen x  Four Moons

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Ran well in his first bumper but disappointed after. He was ready to go hurdling but unfortunately will miss this season through injury.

R'Cam (Ire)

2002 Bay Gelding

Glacial Storm x  Beann Ard

Owner: High Altitude Partnership

After showing loads of promise on his first two runs at Ascot and Exeter, he disappointed badly over hurdles last season. He has recently had a wind op, we are very much hoping he will show the undoubted ability he has. I think he is a smart staying chaser in the making.

Return to Sender (Ire)

2004 Bay Gelding

Beneficial x  Silent Supreme

Owner: Mr Steve Hemstock

Younger brother to Have you Seen Me he had one run last year but he did not seem to handle to ground that day. He will start in another bumper and we are confident he will improve as he works well at home.

Rocky River (Ire)

2003 Bay Gelding

High Roller x  Wall-Nut Grove

Owner: Mr B Body

Ran just the once last year finishing a very respectable 2nd at Uttoxeter in a race where the form has worked out very well. He will have one more run in a bumper before he runs over hurdles. I think he is very nice.

Roll Along (Ire)

2000 Bay Gelding

Carroll House x  Callmartel

Owner: Bryan & Philippa Burrough

For the fourth season running he won first time out – this time over fences at Plumpton. He just missed out on the big bonus when finishing 2nd in the Sunalliance Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. He is now on a handicap mark of 149 over fences. He will start off in an intermediate chase to gain more experience before hopefully continuing to the top of the chasing ladder!

Scalloway (Ire)

2000 Bay Gelding

Marju x  Zany

Owner: Lady Blyth

Having missed last season with an injury he took a long time to return to his best. He did not let us down and showed that he still has the ability with a good win at Aintree in June. Hopefully the handicapper has not made life too hard for him following that. He is much better going left handed.

Sebennytos

2005 Bay Gelding

Winged Love x  Madam Rocher

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Seeking The Buck (USA)

2004

Seeking the Gold x  Cuanto Es

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Bought originally for the Triumph hurdle but he was not ready in time. He disappointed us first time over hurdles. Some horses do take a couple of runs to find their feet over jumps so we are confident of large improvement this season.

Seven Sky (Fr)

2003 Bay Gelding

Septieme Ciel x  Nuit De Crystal

Owner: The Crystal Racing Partnership

Came off the flat in France after winning a middle distance race over there. He has run over hurdles 3 times for us, finishing a very encouraging 3rd last time. He will run in novice handicap hurdles this year.

Sheer Magnatism (Ire)

2003 Grey Gelding

Great Palm x  Mitah

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Having shown promise in two bumpers last year he will go over hurdles this year. He is a very neat horse who has schooled over hurdles very well.

Slabsy(Ire)

2005

Revoque x  Mistric

Owner: Colin Roberts

Slasby – Revoque x Mistric, 2005, Bay Gelding

Smooth Classic

2004 Bay Gelding

Luso x  Noan Rose

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Snakebite (Ire)

2000 Grey Gelding

Taipan x  Bee in the Rose

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Unfortunately missed last season with an injury. Having chased home Denman on heavy ground we are obviously quite excited about him. He is due back shortly and may run before Christmas. He prefers good ground.

Spiritual Guidance (Ire)

2003 Bay Gelding

Broken Hearted  x  Native Tango

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

A lovely unraced horse. He had a small setback before he was due to run so was turned out for the summer. It will have done him no harm as he will have filled out into his lovely big frame. We think a lot of him and he will run in bumpers this season.

Steig (Ire)

2003 Bay Gelding

Xaar x  Ring of Kerry

Owner: Something in the City 2

Having tried hurdling he decided he preferred running on the flat! He has been such a consistent horse for us on the flat winning three times since Christmas and rarely out of the frame. He is now for sale as his owners prefer jumping.

Strategic Approach (Ire)

2002 Chestnut Gelding

Bob Back x  Merrill Gaye

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

A lovely horse who took a bit of time for the penny to drop. He showed what he was capable of in his two bumper runs at Newbury last year finishing 3rd first time and winning well next time. He is a relentless galloper with a high cruising speed. He will run over hurdles now and expect him to pick up some nice races.

Super Martina (Ire)

2002 Bay Mare

Flemensfirth x  Runaway Tina

Owner: Lawson Group & Cliff Puffett

A lovely big mare, she had three good bumper runs last year – form figures read 432 so improving every time. I think she can win over hurdles before going chasing where I think she could be well worth following.

Sydney (Ire)

2000 Bay Gelding

Saddler's Hall x  Magic Gale

Owner: Malclom Denmark

Very lightly raced but talented on his day. He only ran twice last year, it was not easy for him as he had run once the year before and won so was a very inexperienced horse out of Novice company. He will now go over fences.

Tara Queen

2003 Bay Mare

Kayf Tara x  Magic Gale

Owner:

Recently sold to be a brood mare. Having shown a lot of promise at home we hope to win a race on the better ground she requires before she goes to the paddocks.

Tayman (Ire)

2002 Brown Gelding

Sinndar x  Sweet Emotion

Owner: John Goodman

Recently changed hands he is a fun dual-purpose horse. A winner on the flat and twice a winner over hurdles. Only small but we are confident he can add to his tally when he goes over fences shortly.

The Old Pretender (Ire)

2003 Chestnut Gelding

Old Vic x  Cluain-Ard

Owner: Bryan & Philippa Burrough

Was hugely impressive in winning a bumper on his debut at Huntington. Ran well again in a Grade 2 bumper at Newbury. He will be going hurdling in the autumn, he could be anything…….!

Three Guesses (Ire)

2001 Bay Gelding

Supreme Leader x  Guess Twice

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Missed last season with an injury. Not very big but very willing and tough in his races. He will run in Novice hurdles but will probably not be ready until the latter part of the season.

Tizzy Blue (Ire)

2002 Bay Mare

Oscar x  Satellite Dancer

Owner: Steve Hemstock

Improved vastly when stepped up in trip over hurdles last year, winning two and being 3rd twice. She is not back in yet but will probably start over hurdles when she is ready. Eventually she will go to the paddocks for breeding.

Urban Tiger (Ger)

2003 Bay Gelding

Marju x  Ukraine Venture

Owner: Club ISM

Talented but mainly likes to keep it hidden on the track. Finally consented to battle on gamely when recently winning at Huntingdon. Hopefully this will give him the confidence to follow up.

Voice of Reason (Ire)

2002 Chestnut Gelding

Accordian x  Ginger Bar

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

After winning first time at Folkestone he then went on to follow in the footsteps of Roll Along and Den of Iniquity in winning the Listed bumper at Warwick in January. After this I felt he had done enough for the season and so I have given him a long break. He will be starting off in two and a half mile plus novice hurdles.

Waldenstroem (Ger)

2003 Grey Gelding

Silver Patriach x  Weisglut

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

Having run very well in his debut two years ago he ran twice last year and disappointed. He will now go over hurdles and we hope he can show us the ability he has.

Wild Bay (Ire)

2004 Bay Gelding

Karinga Bay x  Lets Park

Owner: Mrs T Brown

Spent the first part of last season living up to the first part of his name. However after a while he settled into the routine and we decided to run him at Fontwell in a bumper. He ran very green on gluey ground but we were keen to run him before he had a holiday. He has come back from his summer holiday looking fantastic and easier to deal with in every way. Onwards and upwards!

Wind Instrument (Ire)

2001 Chestnut Gelding

Accordian x  Windy Bee

Owner: Mrs Elizabeth Pearce

Following two good placed efforts he won his novice hurdle at Chepstow. He then followed up by winning a valuable handicap hurdle off a mark of 119; he was then raised to a mark of 130. He is tough, genuine and a pleasure to deal with. He will now go chasing and I have no doubt he will continue to improve.

Without A Doubt

1999 Bay Gelding

Singspiel x  El Rabab

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

On his highest ever mark after running some gallant races in defeat in top handicaps. He is a great little jumper who always tries his best and will be aimed at similar races around the park tracks.

Your So Vain

2003 Bay Gelding

Silver Patriach x  Gaye Mercy

Owner: Malcolm Denmark

An exciting prospect who is giving all the right signals of making his mark in bumpers this season. He has taken time to grow so has not been rushed. He will probably run before Christmas all being well.
